The Old Deanery is encircled by spectacular architecture, located in front of Ripon Cathedral in the center of Ripon, a little market place city in North Yorkshire. Very near at hand and an important part of your visit is the World Heritage place, Fountains Abbey and only a short ride away to the Yorkshire Dales and North York MoorsThe Deanery's restaurant was very refered by Paddy Burt and features been featured in different newspapers and magazines. All our menus use seasonal make and only the best local ingredients. At the very heart of the Old Deanery is its most considerate and amicable staff. Transportation

From the A1: Take the B6265 (W) into the town. Pass the racecourse on your left, continue over the 1st roundabout, then take a directly at the 2nd roundabout. This will take you past the Cathedral on your right, and the Old Deanery is on the left. From Thirsk: Continue along the A61. As you enter Ripon, go over two roundabouts then take a directly at the third onto the B6265. Turn directly at the next roundabout, past the Cathedral on your right and the Old Deanery is on your left. From Pateley Bridge: Take the B6265 (E) into the town by turning directly at the 1st roundabout and continuing direct on at the traffic lights. At the following roundabout turn left. The Cathedral is on your right and The Old Deanery is on your left. From Harrogate: Continue along the Harrogate Road (A61), towards the downtown. Go over the bridge and turn directly at the set of traffic lights, along Water Skellgate. Take a left at the roundabout. The Cathedral is on your right and The Old Deanery is on the left.
