General Information

At Squires you're within a short meander of the prestigious Plymouth Hoe, where Sir Francis Drake is said to have finished his game of bowls before setting sail to confront the Spanish Armada. Stroll across the Hoe and along the stroll opposite the Royal Citadel and shortly you get to the Mayflower Steps, from where the Pilgrim Fathers finally left our shores to found their recent lives in America. You'll then be in the ancient Barbican district, with its narrow streets, art galleries, pubs and restaurants. Plymouth is a main center for the South West and features plenty of other park amusements, including an absolutely new mall center, the Theatre Royal, the National Marine Aquarium and Plymouth Pavilions. It's also no doubt within a short distance of the beaches of Devon and Cornwall, the Eden Project, Dartmoor, the South Hams and Torbay. Most of the suites at Squires are adjacent and provided with refreshment tray, color TV, hairdryer, radio alarm clock and trouser press. A full English breakfast is catered to visitors in the morning.
