General Information

Ashgrove House is a non smoking establishment, situated in a Grade two Listed Victorian city cottage. A lot of of the original aspects and characteristics of the structure have been retained, while each present-day convenience is catered. We are a member of 'Plymouth & District Hotels, Restaurants & Guest Houses Association'. Plymouth is uniquely located in the shining South West. To the 'front' of the town is Plymouth Sound and the English Channel, to the west the River Tamar and Plym form the natural boundary between Devon and Cornwall. Inland is Dartmoor National Park. Being a main fishing port, fish are landed and auctioned regularly at the market place. Adjoining the market place is the Aquarium, well known for having the deepest tank in Europe, housing species from "tidlers" to fearsome Tiger Sharks. Joy boats will take you round the Docks and Warships, or fishing whether you favour. The Naval Dockyard is a ten minutes drive from the House Please Note: We are a No-Smoking property. Regrettably, we cannot accept pets. Kids welcome. Check-in time: 1200 and Check-Out time: 1000.
