We propose suitable and warm lodging after the long stroll which covers almost 80 miles retracing the route used by the renowned Rob Roy Macgregor who took part in the Jacobite uprising and was outlawed for a lot of years. Transportation

Rosehill Guest House is located just off Atholl Road which is the central street in Pitlochry. From the South From Perth take the A9 route North and follow the signs for Pitlochry. After about fourty minutes branch left on to the A924 signposted Pitlochry. Once you enter the city you'll see the Police station and Tourist Office on your right. Go via the first set of traffic lights and turn left into Ferry Road and left again immediately in to Rosehill car parking. Do not go under the bridge as you'll have passed the entrance point to Rosehill Guest House. From the North From Inverness take the A9 route South and follow the signs for Pitlochry. After about 1 hours branch left on to the A924 signposted Pitlochry and continue till you get to the very heart of the city. You'll now be on the principal street, Atholl Road. Continue on this highway passing the Fishers hotel on your right till you discover a memorial also on your right. Take the following right in to Ferry Road and left again immediately in to Rosehill car parking. Do not go under the bridge as you'll have passed the entrance point to Rosehill Guest House. We are situated, 1 hours from both Edinburgh and Glasgow International Airports. Whether you're hiking from continental Europe by means of Zeebrugge (Belgium) to Rosyth on the Superfast Ferries we are about 1 hour and ten mins North of the ferry terminal by means of M90 Perth and then on to the A9 Pitlochry. The towns of London, Edinburgh Glasgow and Inverness have pretty transportation links to Pitlochry whether you intend arriving by train - www.scotrail.co.uk - or - www.gner.co.uk. We are a five minute stroll from Pitlochry Railway station. We are also located on the major bus route www.city-link.co.uk for Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and London.
