General Information

Suzanne and David anticipate to hospitable you to their idyllic 18th century house with vistas over open rural area and the Helvelyn variety of mountains behind. 2 double suites are with present-day en-suite amenities, one features a bath and a shower. The Rose apartment able to sleep four and is a generous family suite, suites able to be used as twin lodging. All rooms in the hotel have tea and coffee amenities, towels, dressing gowns, slippers, hairdryer, water, sky+TV. The rate consists of a full Cumbrian Breakfast. There is a visitor hall with a log burning stove. We can offer lock up amenities for cycles. Drying facility is obtainable. The countryside features an 18 century inn (Queens Head) which serves meals and vivid beers. The Yanwath Gate Inn is 1 mile outside the countryside and is a generous restuarantpub serving high quality meals and wines.


Transportation

M6 North, exit at Junction 40 take the 4th exit off roundabout, at next roundabout take 4th exit signed Shap, over Eamont Bridge, at mini roundabout turn right signed Pooley Bridge and Tirril. Come via the countryside of Tirril, past theQueens Head, just as you leave the countryside you'll find a white house on the left hand side, go past the house (you will see the BandB sign), garden on the drive, come via the gates down into the park to the Conservatorykitchen door.
