Crosby provides fine Bed and Breakfast lodging in the pleasant market place city of Penrith, Cumbria, ideally located for hiking the idyllic Lake District, Eden Valley and Hadrian's Wall. Wifi access in all suites The Scottish Border is only twenty miles north on the M6, making Crosby a nice overnight stop when hiking to and from Scotland. Crosby, only 5 minutes drive from the M6 motorway and the A66, is a Victorian city cottage situated in a tranquil part of city now designated as a conservation region, yet just five minutes from Penrith city center and diverse excellent butiques and eating places. Ullswater is only 5miles drive from Penrith.

From the M6 MotorwayExit at Junction 40 from M6. Take 1st exit for PenrithGo direct across mini-roundaboutPass Focus store on left then station on left. Bear left at next mini-roundabout up hill for 100 yds to next mini-roundabout. Go direct across, look for WCF store on left and Safeways on right. Direct on down hill into city. At base of hill bear left, keep in RHS lane. Double back toward city and take first left into Portland Place. Take next right and then first left for Lowther Street. Crosby is approx 300yds up on the right, look for cream cottage. From the A66Take the Penrith exit from Kemplay Roundabout down Bridge Lane. Go direct across mini-roundabout. Turn first right after the John Norris store. Carry direct on, up a slight hill highway bears left. Go direct across next mini-roundabout. Take 2nd turn right up Lowther Street. Crosby is approx 300yds up on right, look for cream cottage.
