7 in Brightstone is situated next to the 11th centuary church of St Mary, and our summer months verandah faces the churchyard, the ideal place to spend a sunny afternoon. Our recently refurbished cafe/bar is a cozy spot to spend some time, and our carte menu caters for all tastes, from a tranquil drink to a three course meal. We have 4 re-equipped en apartment bed & breakfast apartments, ideal for recreation break. Every features a seperate decoration topic and are all named after bunchs of flowers. Camillia ,Rose, Orchid and Bluebell. Brighstone villiage lies on the sunny side of the chalk downs that march east-west across the very heart of the Island. The 10th century church of St Mary the Virgin features the uncommon distinction of having had 3 rectors who have become Bishops, the majority widely-known being Samuel Wilberforce son of the anti-slavery campainer William Wilberforce. Brighstone is also within short distance of the jurassic beach ,famous for particular dinosar remains which able to calm be found in the cliffs.
