Less than a 10 minute drive to Newbury city center The Swan Hotel is a conventional former training Inn, located in a little countryside in the center of the rolling Berkshire Downs. Over the last eight years we have established a firm image for providing British pub food with a mix of prime value and high standards with an emphasis on quality AND quantity. These standards are managed by our well stocked brasserie, serving wines from the ancient world and modern and our well maintained, award winning genuine ales, backed up with twenty years of experience in the pub trade. Transportation

Only 10 Minutes from Newbury city center. The Swan is in the Village of East Ilsley ten miles North of Newbury. From the M4 Junction 13, Join the A34 North towards Oxford for six miles. Leave the A34 at the First exit, signposted East Ilsley and Compton. Turn Left at the end of the sliproad and drive into East Ilsley. The Swan Hotel will be on the directly at the junctions of Fiddlers Lane and the High Street. From Oxford follow the A34 South for 20 mile and leave at the East Ilsley, Compton exit drive into East Ilsley and the Swan will be seen as you reach the crossroads in the very heart of the Village.
