The Hall was constructed in 1816 and today is a completely re-equipped grange manor house. As you pass via the wrought iron gates beside the lodge, and sweep down the long drive between the lawns to the cottage, you could almost be forgiven for momentarily thinking you had somehow been transported to France. Transportation

From the North: Leave the M6 at fusion 18. Follow the signs for Middlewich on the A54, and take the A530 for Nantwich. Follow this highway for three miles, passing the Verdin Arms pub. Some 400 yeards later, turn right, signposted Church Minshull. In the countryside, turn left towards Nantwich on the B5074, passing the Badger Public House.
