Sarah & Simon Righton invite you to Old Farm, a family run, 3-star, 15th Century Farmhouse set on a working farm with an emphasis on warmhearted service and with all suites facing the park. The cottage features been fully modernised, retaining its original fascination while adding modern facilities including central heating and free wi-fi. We are also members of the Green Tourism Business Scheme, with which we have a gold award. Advantageously located, we are just 1 mile from the Cotswold market place city Moreton-in-Marsh, which you can get by means of an unspoiled state stroll along the footpath over our fields. We are also only one mile from the train and bus stations and propose a favour pickup from the station. Please let me know when you book by straight e-mail whether you require this facilities so that we able to organise a mutually convenient time. Rest in our hall or outside at the picnic tables in our park, the whole with children’s play district. Whether you can reach together a group of 6 we will be delighted to propose you a two hour tour of the farm, giving you opportunity to see things in action, and to meet the hens, pigs and other animals. Our breakfasts are newly cooked with home produced sausages & bacon from our petite herd of Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs and graceful free-range eggs. Most of the other ingredients (except the orange juice & breakfast cereals) are sourced from within 14 miles, and all less than 40 miles when attainable in fact we challenge you to see a breakfast with lower food miles! You are able also buy most of the ingredients from our boutique and we have a magnificent selection of home produced lamb, beef and pork as well. We do keep gluten independent and vegetarian sausages in stock and will try to serve for any needs whether you let us know when booking. We are a working farm and have two dogs (Bluey, a working sheep dog and a Weimaraner called BB) and two cats - they are festive and may greet you in the farm yard but are not allowed in the B&B lodging.
