Embedded in a pleasing waterside situation Meadow View proposes a tranquil escape in a brilliant setting. Within a short distance of the M5 at Bridgwater or Taunton, Blue Anchor is well positioned for several treveller park amusements – go for a ride on a steam train on the West Somerset Railway, a wander around Dunster Castle and old-fashioned countryside or catch the bus or train to Minehead where you could transfer to a sightseeing tour of Exmoor or the beach There is something for all ages here. Meadow View itself proposes self-catering lodging for up to five clients in two bedrooms, and features a well furnished kitchen, hall, breakfast room and bathroom plus a 2nd toilet with wash basin. From the back of the premises there is a beautiful picturesque scenery of Blue Anchor Bay, the nearby country and the mountains of Exmoor behind. The panorama is only interrupted by the occasional steam train approaching or leaving Blue Anchor Station. The back park is extensive and enclosed, ideal for kids. Meadow View has just been updated in a delicious, state fashion to give a quiet visit. Several personal touches have been added making all the difference to the pleasure of the customers. Blue Anchor sea facade with long, level prom and the West Somerset Railway Station are only 150 yds away. There are several cycling and strolling chances, local maps are offered (Dunster is 2½ miles across the fields and Minehead is three miles along the coast). For excursions further a-field, the edge of Exmoor National Park is only a mile away, the cities of Minehead and Watchet (ancient sea port) are approximately four miles, Tropiquaria Animal and Adventure Park is four miles and for a major mall center, Taunton is 20 miles. And whether you favour something more still then you are able to enjoy sitting on the courtyard or in the hall and watch the steam trains go by or the sun go down over the sea or mountains (depending on the season) at the end of the day.
