Holnicote House Minehead

General Information

Holnicote House, designated non-smoking, lies in a 12, 500 acre estate in the Horner Valley, half a mile from Selworthy in the Exmoor National Park. Just a short meander from the cottage is Dunkery Beacon, a vantage point over miles of heather and upland and cliffs and beaches are a short ride away. The 28 en-suite bedrooms are situated in the major building and in pleasing cottages in the grounds and are equiped with a hairdryer, clock radio and additionaly tea/coffee making amenities. Televisions and telephones are not provided in the bedrooms. Non en-suite suites are also accessible. An open-air heated swimming pool is obtainable for visitors from May to September inclusive, in addition to badminton and putting. Indoors, visitors are able to unwind in the 2 lounges or brasserie, whilst the kids play ping-pong. Meals are catered in an unofficial, familiar atmosphere at tables for up to 8 clients. A three-course dinner is catered at seven to seven. 30pm for a charge of 18 GBP for a person. Whether you would like to have dinner at the farmstead please contact the cottage before 6pm to produce your dinner reservation. An option of full English or nutritious breakfas is offered. To enable you to produce the plurality of your tourism or strolling vacation, a self-select picnic snack able to be provided for small charge of ten GBP for a person. Free parking zone is obtainable. Please inform the farmstead in good time whether you intend to arrive after 10.30pm. Bedrooms are attainable from two. 30pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by ten. 00am on the day of departure. The National Park peaceful location makes Holnicote House a great base for those on an activity or strolling vacation. Other surrounding sights include Dunster palace, Lynton and Lynmouth rock railway and Exmoor Zoological garden.

Transportation

Take A39 through Minehead towards Porlock. Holnicote House is on the left approximately four. five miles out of Minehead and approximately 34 mile after the signpost to the left to Luccombe. (Do not follow the signs to Selworthy). After the Selworthy Village sign, 500 yards further on the left, the HF Holidays sign is visible.
