The Conigre Rooms and Restaurant is an adorable Grade II listed 400 year antique farmhouse, converted to an 8 bedroom property & restaurant. The premises is family run and purposes to propose neighborly service in an idle environs. We have eight individualy colored adjacent bedrooms, 5 doubles, one twin and 2 singles, every created for your comfort; if visiting on work or fun. The major cottage features 3 bedrooms, all on the ground floor. Our converted Stable Mews proposes a further 5 first floor bedrooms. The site features a prime restaurant offering present-day menus using local make where possible. We provide a competitively priced midweek carte menu, three courses for £21 and an a la menu on Fridays and Saturdays. Please take into account that bookings are necessary and that the restaurant is closed on Sunday in the evenings. We have a relaxed brasserie and a visitor greenhouse to appreciate the vistas of our quiet park. The inn features an ample function suite which is perfect for particular events or a light, airy proximity for business assemblies and meetings. We specialise in little, privately-owned functions, where we can to propose prestigious use to our dear guests. We are situated in the suburbs of Melksham, at the foot of the picturesque Wiltshire village. We are located within a 20 minute drive of Bath, Bradford on Avon, Trowbridge, Lacock and Castle Combe. Longleat, Salisbury, Bristol and Swindon are all within simple get to. We are 15 minutes’ drive from Junction 17 of the M4 motorway.
