The White Hart Hotel is a pleasant historic Hamstone Grade II listed training inn dating from 1735, proud of a four-star Inn rating. Located right in the centre of south Somerset in an unspoiled countryside, the guesthouse is supplemented by a conventional inn & a la carte restaurant. Superbly located as a base from which to discover the pretty, hidden joy of Somerset and Dorset. Within easy walking distance are several historical houses - Montacute House, Barrington Court, Muchelney Abbey, East Lambrook Manor to name but several are all within five miles. The market place city of Yeovil is 8 miles away and other park amusements surrounding are the Haynes Motor Museum, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum & Clarks Village shopping outlet. The inn is a family run and maintains plenty of of its original historic has. A meeting room & skittles side street is also attached. Self-sufficient Wireless Broadband in public zone, and stays of two nights or more consists of a full English breakfast. Check in is 11: 30 to 14: 30 & from 5:30. Please advise whether your needs differ. There is no restaurant on Monday and Sunday in the evenings, and no brasserie on Sunday evening and Monday snack time.
