Town House Markinch

General Information

The Town House Hotel is a family run Restaurant with Rooms in small city of Markinch approx three miles from Glenrothes in the Historic Kingdom of Fife. The inn was a previous training inn which features been extensively upgraded over several years, with the emphasis on conventional design, comfort and prominent food. We have been recognised by different hotel guides for achieving the greatly top standard and providing prominent quality, pleasant hospitality and excellent value. The Hotel is managed under the privy supervision of resident owners Harry and Lesley Bain.

Transportation

From the South: Follow the M90 north to mix 2A. At mix 2A follow signs to GlenrothesKirkaldy. After approx. 11. five miles go direct over 1st roundabout. At next roundabout, approx two. five miles, turn right on B921 (B9130) following signs to Coaltown of Balgonie. Carry on through Coaltown for approx. two miles till you arrive to a T blend. Turn left at T fusion and you'll see the Town House Hotel on the left approx. 100 yards. From the North: Follow the A92 southwards. When nearing Glenrothes look out for sign to Markinch. Take a left turning at the sign for Markinch which is the B9130. Carry on through Markinch for approx. 1. 25 miles. The Town House Hotel is on the right.
