The scenic Orangery restaurant, with marble floors, soaring windows and seaview balcony, is the best in the region. Transportation

From the A299 roundabout take the second exit onto the A28 Canterbury Road. Follow this highway till you get to Birchington countryside, take a directly at the mini roundabout and carry on through Westgate towards Margate, silent on the A28. When you are able to see the sea on your left you have reached Margate major sands. At the Clock Tower ahead of you visit in the left hand lane and continue on this highway past the Winter Gardens till you get to the Smiths Court Hotel.
