The Place Hotel has now completed the 1st phase of its £3. 5million refurbishment, to revamp and refresh its reception, and foyer regions. An absolutely new brasserie and restaurant has also been incorporated into the development. Situated just off the foyer, the ultra-modern buffet brasserie, will accommodate up to 50 visitors, for snack and evening meal, and The Place Bar is open all day to both dwellers,

North from the m66 continue south onto the m60 and take Junction 20 onto the a664. Follow signs into City heart. At spacious crossroads take a left down Queens Road (a6010) to the next combination. Turn right onto a62. Follow a62 till the end of the highway. Turn left onto Great Ancoats Street. Continue on this highway passing through 2 sets of traffic lights. After the second set, take the 1st right turning onto Ducie Street. Staying on the left hand side for 500 yards. East From m67 continue till Denton roundabout. Go direct across onto a57 and follow all the way into Manchester. The a57 then becomes London Road. South From m56 (South) follow till highway ends and carry on till a main roundabout. Take the 3rd exit sliproad joining Mancunian Way and follow slip highway till it ends. Turn left. This brings you onto London Road. West From m61/62 to m602 continue on this highway till it becomes Mancunian Way flyover. Take the exit signposted Belle Vue. Follow slip highway till the end. Turn left onto London Road.
