The Castlefield Hotel Manchester

General Information

The Castlefield Hotel is a warm and welcoming downtown Hotel situated in the historical district of Castlefield, in front of the Museum of Science and Industry. It is only a 5 minute stroll from Manchester Central and the Bridgewater Hall, and just a fifteen minute stroll from the Manchester Evening News Arena, Theatres and champion shopping districts.

All of the 48 bedrooms are en-suite with central heating, freeview flat screen televisions, straight dial telephones, independent WiFi, hairdryer and tea/coffee making amenities.

The hotel features a strict non-smoking policy throughout.

All Hotel visitors have access to the YClub, probably the North West's premier wellness and relaxation club. It incorporates an 18m swimming pool, 100m running track and fully furnished gymnasium. Transportation

From North: From the M6, unite the M61 at Preston. At the end of the M61, the highway leads onto the M60. Follow signs for M60 South and West towards Trafford Centre. Continue onto the M602 and follow signs for the downtown and GMEX heart onto the A57. Follow signs for Manchester City Centre and at the roundabout turn left onto Chester Road and via the traffic lights continuing under the railroad bridge onto Deansgate. After approximately 100 yards, you'll see the 54 storey Hilton Hotel stronghold, which is where you turn left down Liverpool Road. The room is at the bottom end next to the Commercial Hotel. From South: Exit mix 19 of the M6 and follow signs to the M56. The M56 becomes the A5103. Follow downtown signs. At the end of the highway, go direct over the roundabout, following signs for the GMEXBridgewater Hall onto Medlock Street. At the lights, turn left onto Whitworth Street West, taking a directly at the next set of lights continuing under the railroad bridge onto Deansgate. After approximately 100 yards, you'll see the 54 storey Hilton Hotel citadel, which is where you turn left down Liverpool Road. The room is at the bottom end neighboring to the Commercial Hotel.
