General Information

Once the home of Lord Arthur Cecil - Queen Victoria's privately-owned secretary, Passford House is steeped in heritage and the traditions of beautiful, slow state living. Embedded in ten acres of panoramic gardens, the hotel is proud of both inner and open-air swimming pools, along with a gymnasium, croquet lawns and 9 hole putting green. The inn lies midway between the New Forest countryside of Sway and the Georgina splendour of Lymington, which makes whether the main basis from which to discover the New Forest, country and beach. We are proud of ourselves on the standard and range of food catered, be it a brasserie lunch adjacent to a roaring fire in the winter, siesta tea in the patio or park in summer time months, or banquet in the restaurant - all complimented with astonishing wines from our well stocked vault. Kids under five years are not permitted in the restaurant after 19:00. A carte menu is obtainable between 17:.30 and 18. 30 for kids. Passford House also features 4 meeting rooms, which makes it the perfect location for both the work and pastime traveller.

Transportation

Just off the A337, 12 miles from Junction 1 of the M27. Through Lyndhurst visit on the A337 and bear right, following signs to Brockenhurst and Lymington. Follow the A337 through Brockenhurst - after a sign hospitable you to Lymington, the highway runs beneath a railway bridge between 2 mini roundabouts. Cross direct over these roundabouts, taking the following right immediately before the Tollhouse Pub. Continue along Sway Road for 3 quarters of a mile and bear right into Mount Pleasant Lane. After about half a mile, you'll see the Hotel entry on your right.
