General Information

Ty'n-y-wern Guest Accommodation is embedded in the good Vale of Llangollen, with uninterrupted vistas across the dale. The antique ruins of Castell Dinas Bran are high up on the hillside opposite Ty'n y Wern. We are perfectly located if you're en-route to destinations further into North Wales or spending several days hiking this idyllic district. Please take into account that although we no longer propose brasserie or restaurant service, Llangollen does have a very expedient selection of restaurants and inns. Prices quoted are for suite only, with an optional nutritious breakfas accessible, catered between 8. 00 and 9.30am. Check-in is normally between two. 00pm and 7.00pm, please let us know whether you expect to arrive outside these times (your suite may not be accessible till 2.00pm). We are unable to accommodate kids below the age of 12 years.

Ty'n y Wern is located on the A5 primary route, half a mile east of Llangollen. (OS Grid Reference SJ228418). Whether you're hiking on the A483 trunk highway, we are 10 min from the Chirk by-pass - from the Halton roundabout (McDonalds), follow the signs for the A5 (Llangollen). The nearest railway station is at Chirk, and the nearest coach stop is at Llangollen with a local bus facilities from Llangollen to Chirk.
