Black Bull Inn Nateby Kirkby Stephen

General Information

Located in the countryside of Nateby just a mile south of Kirkby Stephen, the Black Bull Inn able to be found in the very heart of the Village, directly in front of the highway leading to Swaledale. The inn is easily reached from either the M6 or the A66, and is ideally located for exploration the Eden Valley and further the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks. Popular with both locals and travellers the Black Bull Inn features gorgeous image for food. All of our meals are just prepared to order from local suppliers wherever possible. Clients may opt to eat in either the restaurant or our brasserie district. Food and drink is catered daily between 12-2 lunchtime and 6-9 in the evenings, with the addition of Saturday and Sunday when the brasserie is open all day. We have a conventional well stocked brasserie with famous wines, true ales, malt whiskies and liqueurs. Sit and unwind with your drink opposite the log burning fire, with no jukebox, video toys or large screen televisions to disturb you, just hospitable conversation and the occaisional rattle of dominoes from the locals desk. The Black Bull features 4 double bedrooms and 1 twinfamilyroom, all with en-suite. Our lodging features a tv, hair drying and teacoffee making amenities. Besides we have a laundrydrying suite to cover any eventuality. Every room is equipped with literature on where to go and what to undergo or alternatively stay our locality page for more details. Pets are welcome on prior arrangement. The English Tourist board features once again given us FOUR stars for our fine lodging and cordiality, we are both cyclists and walkers welcoming.

Transportation

The Black Bull inn is located in the very heart of Nateby countryside, in front of the B6270 to Swaledale. The B6259 from Hawes passes right by our facade door. Whether hiking from the north the A66 and then the A685 from Brough will bring you direct to Kirkby Stephen or alternatively the M6 and then A685 from Tebay.
