The Hope and Anchor In is embedded in the classical and particular ancient fishing countryside of Hope Cove, here in the South Hams of Devon. Obviously, the region is celebrated for it is clifftop strolls and on a blustery day, there indeed is nothing better than a stroll around the miles of unspoiled coastline and village to invigorate the ambience. There are a lot of watersports amenities on propose locally. Sailing is a famous option, but for the young, or young at center, why not hire a powerboat or jet-ski and investigate the coves and beaches of Bigbury Bay. The local beaches of Bantham and Challabrough are famous with surfers and windsurfers alike for consistently beautiful waves. Kids will love the districts adventure gardens and parents will enjoy visiting local markets, plenty of selling fresh locally made make. All our nice bedrooms are en-suite, mostly of which have amazing views of Bigbury Bay. Transportation

From Exeter: Take the A38 (Devon Express Way) to Buckfastleigh and come off on the A384, the exit marked Kingsbridge. This will take you by means of Totnes. Follow signs for Kingsbridge (A381). From Kingsbridge visit on A381 towards Salcombe. After about two. five miles turn right for Hope Cove. From Plymouth: Follow the A379 for Kingsbridge till sign for Salcombe (after Averton Gifford bypass). Take the B 3197 which will connect to the A381. After about two miles turn right for Hope Cove.
