General Information

Lakeside House features undergone the whole restoration and features been redecorated and refurnished to propose dainty, up-to-date visitor lodging for guests seeking a particular bed & breakfast visit in Keswick. The structure features been totally remodelled and presents fourteen roomy bedrooms, including twin and family suites, all en-suite, and most bedrooms have amazing views of the Lake District hills. We are ideally located on the corner of Lake Road and The Heads just several minutes' stroll from Derwentwater and The Theatre By The Lake, and right next to the boutiques, restaurants and bars of Keswick city center - tranquil location, peaceful location, serene location - we have it! A peerless base from which to discover the lively Lake District, if you plan to fellwalk or cycle, or just want to unwind in comfort and admire the majestic landscape. The newly opened Lakeside House Cafe and Coffee Lounge provides a site to unbend, take in the vistas, or to just watch the world go by. All our food is, where possible, locally supplied and fair trade make. Breakfast provides a choice of juices, fruits and yoghurt, cereals or porridge to beginning, then an option of: smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, conventional full-grill, or the Lakeside House 'lighter option' - a newly buttered crumpet topped with a poached egg supplemented by griddled asparagus spears wrapped in parma ham. Our lodging covers four floors, with an amiable light and fresh dining room, a sport suite and drying suite service for cyclists and walkers.
