Transportation

From the M6 South take Junction 36, this is the beautiful route, follow along the A591through Windermere Ambleside and Grasmere. On approaching Keswick down the hill you'll need to take the 1st main right hand turn, sign posted to Penrith M6 Cockermouth and Workington, Brookfield is 50 m on the left hand side. From M6 mix 40, at Penrith follow along the A66 to Keswick which is 17 miles. You'll discover a sign for Windermere and Keswick A591, take a left down the slip highway, onto the A591 Brookfield is the 3rd BandB on the right hand side, note there? s a gap of 60 meters between every BandB.
