Once a 19th Century Coaching Inn, The Royal Hotel is now a soothing family run hotel in the very heart of Jedburgh - and perfect base to discover the quiet village of the Scottish Borders. Whether en-route, Jedburgh is the perfect stop-over point to break your trip, hiking North or South. Why not visit over and appreciate the range of park amusements Jedburgh can offer - including the 12th Century Abbey, the Castle and Mary Queen of Scots House, all part of the history of this historic burgh. We are also can organise local activities for our dear guests during their visit, including Golf, we provide a specific golfing vacation that allows you to play at any of our 21 local courses together with lodging. Strolling, the recent St Cuthberts Way linking Melrose with Lindisfarne passes near Jedburgh. Serious walkers able to appreciate the Cheviot Hills to the South and East where at KIrk Yetholm the Pennine Way ends its 270 mile trip. Packed Lunches and Transport from the Hotel able to be arranged. Horse Racing, Kelso Racecourse is just fifteen mins away and whether you fancy a day at the races tickets and transportation able to be arranged.
