General Information

The Ardvasar Hotel was constructed in the early 1800's making it one of the oldest hotels on Skye. Located in the idyllic 'Garden of Skye' facing the Sound of Sleat and the splendid Knoydart Mountains behind. The guesthouse is only 800 m from Armadale, here the ferry from Mallaig brings you 'Over the sea to Skye'. A lot of of our apartments have grand sea panorama. All rooms in the hotel have been newly re-equipped providing a high standard of lodging. All our suites have adjacent bath and shower. The Ardvasar Hotel is notable for its food. We provide the most high quality of fresh ingredients. Fresh fish is landed daily, including fresh salmon, crab, scallops and lobster. Local Venison and ultimate Aberdeen Angus beef also feature on our carte menu.

Transportation

From Ferry Terminal at Armadale, drive 400 meters and take 1st left. Drive for a further 800 m and the inn is situated on the right hand side. From the Skye Bridge, take the third exit off the roundabout, following the signs for Portree and Broadford. Follow the highway for five. five miles and then turn left onto the A851. Follow the signs for Armadale and Ardvasar. After 15 miles you get to the countryside of Ardvasar where the inn is on the right hand side.
