Sue Cochrane and her partner Jim would love to invite you in person to the Abbey Guest House in Ipswich. Located on Hatfield Road, our amicable, detached Edwardian home, which holds some of its original has, provides all the contemporary amenities you need for an charming visit. We are just several minutes' stroll from the city center and are perfectly situated for anyone who is visiting Ipswich, either for work or leisure. Contractors are welcome, and longer stays will attract a discounted rate after the 1st 5 days. Famous for the high standard of our bright and cozy suites, we provide: Standard and en room suites. Independent wi-fi broadband on our safe net. Access to computer and printer whether required. Flat screen TV in each apartment, with Freeview and DVDCD player. Assorted tea, savoury coffee and hot chocolate, with complimentary bottled water and lavish biscuits in each suite. Off highway car parking. Open-air swimming pool which our dear guests are welcome to use, weather permitting! Early or late arrival or departure, whether required. Early or late breakfast, just ask on arrival. An option of nutritious breakfas, or full English, or your other dietary requirements served for; just let us know when you book your apartment. Breakfast in your suite whether required.

Transportation

From Ipswich city center, follow the one way system and signs for Felixstowe. After the recent University building, take the A1156 (street name Fore HamletBishops Hill) and at upper of hill, about 600mtrs from University, turn right onto Nacton Road. Hatfield Road is the fourth turn on the left, and Abbey Guest House is 2nd building on right after turn. From London and south west, at A12A14 blend (Copdock roundabout) turn right on A14 towards Felixstowe. From Midlands and the north continue on A14. Cross over Orwell bridge and leave at next exit, blend 57. At foot of slip highway, turn left and continue on to next roundabout. Take 2nd exit and carry direct ahead through traffic lights and past The Golden Hind social cottage on left. At next mini roundabout take the 2nd exit and Hatfield highway is the fifth highway on your right. Monastery Guest House is 2nd building on right after turn.
