General Information

Cisswood House is one of England’s most established and well recognized farmstead hotel, built in 1928 for the Chairman of Harrods and his wife Cissily. Situated in the Sussex Countryside at the foot of the historic market place city of Horsham, and a small walking distance from both the seashore town of Brighton and London Gatwick Airport.

An Independently operated hotel with 51 both classical and present-day up-to-date rooms. The Hotel has just been extensively renowated to give a high standard of lodging and amenities. Facilities include, Spa treatments, Gym, inner Pool, Sauna and Jacuzzi, Restaurant, Bar and twenty-four hour apartment facilities, complementary WiFi and parking zone for all customers.

The Garden Restaurant provides a confidential dining experience, serving just prepared food. Plenty of of our dishes are produced using local suppliers supporting the West Sussex community. A good selection of wines including some English wine from Bookers Vineyards just four miles south of the inn.

For relaxed dining we provide a capacious variety of salads, sandwiches and light meals that are accessible throughout the day and evening in ours cozy lounge. A peculiar favorite is afternoon teas catered in facade of our roaring fire during the winter months and on our lawns In the summer months.

Traditional Sunday Lunch is catered in the Garden Restaurant and besides accessible Al Fresco in our terraces during Summer.

Non dwellers are welcomes for all our dining service.

During the summer months we would also be pleased to prepare a picnic for you to enjoy in the impressive Sussex village.
