General Information

The Lamb began trading as a social cottage probably as early as the 12th Century. By 1870 it was already well established as a training inn that supplied 300 post horses for coaches going to and from London and the West Country. To this day the structure holds many its original character and has including inglenook fireplaces, flag stone floors and heavy wooden beams. Interior you'll find the Dining Room, the Bar, the Sitting Room and the Meeting Room in addition to nineteen discretely furnished bedrooms. Outside you will find our heated, covered verandah where you are sure to enjoy an outstanding Havana cigar or one of our 200 single malt whiskies, regardless of the weather. The Lamb Inn sits in the midst of the captivating Wiltshire countryside of Hindon and is only twenty mins away from Salisbury, twenty five minutes from Stonehenge and twenty mins from Longleat safari garden.
