Our Philosophy at The Snug is simply a tranquil escape, within a home from home. Placed within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Gweek is a quiet riverside countryside that sits at the head of the Helford Estuary. It's probably ultimate popular for housing The National Seal Sanctuary, which is only a short amble from The Snug, together with the local pub; The Gweek Inn. Gweek proposes a ideal base to discover plenty of regions of Cornwall, either by land or water. We are just fifteen min drive from bustling Falmouth city, 15 mins from the astonishing Lizard peninsula, 25 min from either St Michaels Mount or St Ives, and 35 mins from The Minack Theatre and Lands End. Based in an enviable situation to discover all coasts, you are able to do as much or as small as you wish. We are also based 50 mins from Newquay Airport. We supply widely-known locally sourced breakfasts, along with local knowledge to actively promote the nearby regions & activities within it. We are committed to providing a positive environmental visit, such as sourcing all our food locally and by only using natural, non toxic, biodegradable products wherever possible, keeping our home & our dear guests squeaky clean... but in addition green. Just as our name suggests, The Snug's bedrooms are wonderfully, comfy suites. Being a capacious, up-to-date property, it features allowed us to establish exactly what we would want for ourselves when we go away; a tranquil, quiet spot to recharge our batteries, yet also consists of the everyday essentials that we simply just can't be without. We know what we love; soft sheets, vast comfy beds and mod cons, therefore, every room houses an Illy espresso machine, flat-screen TV, hair dryer & access to our wifi, along with privately-owned shower suites with natural, deluxe toiletries. Being allergy aware, even our goose down duvets & pillows are anti allergy, wellness guard preserved and where possible, only natural cleaning products are used throughout our home.
