West Vale Country Guest House is an dainty conventional Lakeland stone built cottage of monumental character and spell, built in the 1890's as a Victorian gentleman's residence. The countrysides of Near and Far Sawrey are famous for their association with Beatrix Potter whose cottage Hilltop is just several minutes stroll away. West Vale is embeded deep in the center of the Lake District National Park in the idyllic village of Far Sawrey which is only a short amble away from Lake Windermere and Esthwaite water. The impressive serene location faces Grizedale Forest and The Old Man of Coniston. The nearby area is a pot pourri of cultural, historic and architectural interest together with the historical countryside of Hawkshead surrounding. All suites are en-suite brasserie one with teacoffee welcome trays, color TV, hairdryers, bathrobes, Moulton Brown toiletries and a decanter of sherry to complement your coming. Self-sufficient WiFi is accessable in most suites. The Junior Suites and Deluxe apartments also have fresh fruit and additionaly slippers. One Junior Suite consists a Superior Double en-suite with an adjoining hall which features 2 diital flat screen TV's and a DVDCD player. The 2nd Junior Suite features a sitting district with digital flat screen TV, DVDCD player and enjoying double aspect vistas. Every of the bedrooms features its own specific spell and character and all propose pleasant vistas across the valley to Grizedale Forest and Coniston behind.
