General Information

When you visit in Wales, stay our pleasant Welsh farmhouse for Bed and Breakfast for a famous and specific Pembrokeshire vacation or short break. You may wish to unbend and admire the ravishing beaches, the nearest being only approximately five miles away, coastline and the River Cleddau. For a more active time, indulge in quite a few open-air activities or savour the wealthy heritage of Pembrokeshire through its palaces and historic cities. What ever your interests, base yourselves at Rosehill. We are situated centrally for visiting both North and South Pembrokeshire, in a pleasant and quiet farmland setting with sheep, cattle and poultry. Our farmhouse features 3 homely double apartments, 2 adjacent and 1 with a confidential bathroom, with a bath, next door. The dining room is also used as a hall with tv. All our apartments have a cordiality tray for teacoffee and airy milk etc, TVDVD and clock radio with village vistas. For breakfasts I propose mainly local make for an excellent selection of conventional cooked breakfasts, omelatesor pancakes or lighter alternatives such as chopped fruit and yoghurt. A packed snack able to be arranged with prior notice. I normally use eggs from our own chickens, our own sausages and my homemade bread. Vegetarian and particular diets are served for with prior notice. Some light refreshments eg Tea and cakes are provided between four. 30 and 6pm upon 1st arrival at Rosehill. We have plenty of attractive beaches several miles away in addition to the famed Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. The Brunel Cycle Path is down our lane. We are not too far from the departure point for Skomer Island where the puffins breed in spring and early summer months. Our home is central to many sights for the wildlife and village enthusiasts, those who would like to investigate our heritage and palaces and those desiring to do activities, such as waterside strolling, bird watching, sailing, fishing,golf, riding and a lot of more things. Rosehill farm is next to historic towns; Haverfordwest, Milford Haven and Neyland and their Marinas and Pembroke and its Castle. The outstanding St David's Cathedral is not far away.


Transportation

From the M4 motorway (junction 49), take the A48 signed to Carmarthen. From Carmarthen take the A40 signed to Haverfordwest. At Haverfordwest follow signs for Milford Haven (A4076). From Merlins Bridge Johnston is approximately 2 and a half miles away. Once you're in Johnston, go just past the Fish and Chip boutique on your left and take Church Road which is the following on your left. At the corner on your left will be a little Norman Church called St Peter's and on your right will be the doctor's surgery. Follow Church Road for hundred metres then turn left which is signed to Rosemarket. Follow this highway, going over small railway bridge. Rosehill Farm will be on your right approximately mile further down this highway midway between Johnston and Rosemarket.
