General Information

The owners individually supervise the smooth running of the guesthouse which is located in the center of Gretna and is also the nearest hotel to the world great Registration Office. Near Anvil Hall and the eminent Blacksmiths. All rooms in the hotel have color television, tea/coffee making service, up-to-date amenities and all rooms in the hotel have en apartment. All apartments are non-smoking. We have single, double, twin, family apartments and 4 posters for that special reason. Brasserie meals or a la carte dinners catered evenings (booking essential). Spend a captivating evening with us in our hall brasserie where you are able to feel the flavour of Scotland from our big variety of malt whiskies or enjoy one of our particularly home-cooked meals in the breakfast room (Booking recommended). Whether you simply want a relaxing evening we have a personal dwellers hall with colour TV. Hunters Lodge Hotel is a delicious base for a hiking vacation, the Scottish Borders, Hadrian's Wall and the Lake District are all within a short ride.

Transportation

From the North Take the turn off for GretnaGretna Green blend 22 on the AM74 and turn left at the roundabout. Proceed along the highway passing the Hazeldean Hotel. Take the 1st left and pass underneath the AM74 to the highway end with Gretna Hall on the left. Turn left. Go via the traffic lights and follow the highway till the roundabout with Gretna Gateway on the left. Take the right hand exit signposted for Gretna Registration Office onto the Annan Road. Hunters Lodge sits on the right hand side next door to the major school. From the South Take the turn off for GretnaGretna Green blend 45 on the M6. Turn left. Highway bends round passing the Gretna Chase Hotel and the Garden House Hotel. At the roundabout with Gretna Gateway on the right, take the 2nd left signposted for AnnanGretna Registration Office onto the Annan Road. Hunters Lodge sits on the right hand side next door to the principal school.
