Breakfast Great Dunmow

General Information

Blatches farm is a family run bed & breakfast. The farm is situated in the midst of the Essex village yet only approximately 7 miles from Stansted airport. We provide cosy lodging in an idle vicinity. The farm is a charming peaceful location for work trips or joy with the Flitch way passing the rear of the farm with no need to go on yhe highway for strolls or cycling. We have our own fishing pond stocked with carp, roach, chub and perch for our dear guests to enjoy, either fishing or feeding the fish. The region proposes different park amusements for all ages, with local market place cities like Great Dunmow (famous for its flitch trials), Thaxted and Saffron Walden. Or go shopping at Freeport Designer shopping countryside, or a visit to Colchester zoo. There are a lot of restaurants and bars in the diverse countrysides of Felsted, Little Dunmow and Stebbing and all within 2 miles of the farm.

Transportation

(from M11 juunction 8)Leave the M11 combination 8A and then merge onto the A120 (signposted Stansted Airport). Drive 8 miles then branch left, then at roundabout take first exit onto the A130 (signposted to Stebbing). Drive 1 mile then at roundabout take second exit onto Braintree highway (B1256). Then drive two. five miles. Look for signs saying Stebbingford, Entrance is on your right, follow concrete drive under the bridge and up to the farm. From Braintree (Mc Donald's roundabout)Enter A120 from Braintree, drive five miles then branch left onto a roundabout signposted Felsted. On roundabout take 3rd exit onto B1417 (signposted Stebbing). Drive 0. five miles then turn left onto Dunmow highway (B1256). Then drive two. three miles till you arrive to Stebbingford. Entry is on your right. Follow concrete drive under bridge and up to farm.
