A very useful hotel in the center of the Lake area. The inn is perfect for both groups and individuals. Suite supplied to customers are Economy Rooms. The guesthouse and it is terraces are ideally located on the shores of Grasmere Lake. The inn is directly a short walk from the charming village of Grasmere with its many sights including Dove Cottage, which was the home of William Wordsworth and Sarah Nelsons Gingerbread boutique. The guesthouse features an luxurious Edwardian fashion dining place with idyllic high ceilings which provides an option of conventional English and Continental dishes, supplemented by a cautiously chosen wine catalogue. This classical grey stone building, built in the Edwardian era, peaceful features the decor and mood of the Country House that its most popular visitor, Edward Prince of Wales appreciated so much. The entrance hall is comfortable and greatly friendly. It's fairly extensive in size.
