The Ravensworth Arms is located three minutes from the A1 close to such park amusements as the very heart of Newcastle and the Metrocentre. This historic building stands on the premises of Clubdon Hall, and takes it is name from the surrounding Ravensworth Castle. The pub able to brag a affluence of literary connections: Lewis Carroll was a frequent guest thanks to his connections at Oxford University to Lord Ravensworth and it's said that part of 'Alice in Wonderland' was written here. Also, the eminent writer Catherine Cookson's mother worked here and it's believed Catherine was conceived here! In keeping with the conventional ambience of the structure we have 19 homely en apartment bedrooms including a superior 4 posterroom and 2 family apartments. Independent wi fi is obtainable in the suites in addition to in the coffee hall in the restaurant.
