The Bank Hotel resides the champion peaceful location in Edinburgh downtown, located on the Royal mile and just two mins amble from Princes Street, all the heritage and culture of Edinburgh is entirely literally on your door.

Built in 1923 as a majestic Bank, the structure was extensively refurbished with plenty of original has renovated in 1998 to establish The Bank Hotel, and which features lately undergone renewal in February 2008.

The Bank Hotel consists 9 en-suite bedrooms of a three-star standard, every one personally designed to reflect the business and lives of a good Scot. Arranged over the 3 floors and accessed through the original staircase, all suites profit from LCD panel TV's, hairdryers, direct-dial telephones, Tea & Coffee making amenities and added comforts such as CD players, bathrobes & limited suite amenities.

In the morning a full Scottish and mainland fashion breakfast selection is catered by our helpfull personnel in the mezzanine level of the Bank Bar, with vistas onto The Royal Mile. The Bank Bar, timeless in design with brilliant forest panelling and a cool informal atmosphere, proposes a big variety of drinks and a spacious daily food carte menu. Popular with locals and travellers and having an open-air seating region on The Royal Mile, The Bank Bar guarantees that you absorb the buzz of this historical town.

With such a prime peaceful location, conveyance is not important, however, Waverley Train Station is only 2 mins stroll away & Edinburgh Airport able to be accessed through the Airlink bus facilities which runs each 10 minute from the airport to the downtown.

Location Information

The Bank Hotel is situated in the center of the Royal Mile with Edinburgh Castle at the upper of the hill and Holyrood Palace at the bottom. Wonderful location for exploration the town.
