The Merith House Hotel is a family run situated un the centre holiday hotel in the City of Edinburgh. Situated un the centre on a major bus route, No. 25, the Merith is within free access of all Edinburgh's main sights and is approx a 10 minute bus ride tofrom the downtown (1.5km). The Merith Hotel features 14 en-suite suites, all with LCD TV offering over 50 channels, tea coffee making facilties, independent WI-FI and suites are kept daily. Facade overlooking apartments have beautiful views of the Leith Links Park well known for being the site of where the 1st rules of hole golf were drawn up, playing the game over five holes. Self-sufficient on boulevard car park and additionaly sit down nutritious breakfas. Without the need to maintain a restaurant or brasserie, the Merith's rates able to be maintained low and standards higher, there are a lot of modish and conventional cafes and restaurants to pick from not far from. Directions: Travelling from the South: A68 or A702. Hiking from the North: A9 then M90. Hiking from the East: A1. Hiking from the West: M8. Follow signs for 'Leith' we are located facing 'Leith Links Park. Arriving by bus or train to downtown - catch the No 25 or 12 on Princes Street - £1. 20 per single trip or £3. 00 for an all day saver ticket after 9. 30 am. From the airport you are able to take a cab or the Express 100 airport bus into the downtown, then a bus or cab to Leith Links, approx 10 min from downtown by bus or by auto.
