Melville Castle is located south east of Edinburgh just behind the town boundary. From Edinburgh City Centre Head towards the town bypass then follow the instructions below. From the West (Edinburgh Airport) follow the town bypass eastbound. Exit at Gilmerton Junction and follow the highway signs for Eskbank. The gates to Melville Castle will appear on your right hand side approximately 1km from the bypass slip highway. From the East follow the town bypass westbound. At the Sheriff Hall Roundabout take the A68 then take the 1st turning on the right onto Melville Drive. The gates to Melville Castle are opposite the end of Melville Drive.

The hotel is a totally non-smoking throughout.

Reservations must be cancelled two days beforehand of your arrival date. In the event of a no show or a cancellation in breach of this policy, an amount equivalent to one night average cost of lodging will be charged. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Kids older than 12 year are considered adult for suite occupancy. Kids no older than two year can staying for self-sufficient.
