Conventional Victorian Guesthouse with the fascination of the past and the benefit of today, right in the middle of Edinburgh, in short distance to Edinburgh University, Kings Building, Royal Mile, The Palace of Holyrood. Bus stop opposite the guesthouse with frequent amenities to downtown each thirty minutes. We speak fluently German, Spanish, Arabic. Suppers provided on demand. We both are profeshional Chefs.

Transportation

By airEdinburgh International Airport is approximately ten miles away. Take the Airport bus to the downtown at Waverly Station and then take a cab to the Mayfield Lodge. Buses from the town centreThe number 42 bus from Frederick Street, Princes Street (Foot of The Mound) or Waverley Bridge (at train station) runs past the Mayfield Lodge and takes less than 10 minute. Ask the Driver to let you off at Royal Blind School west Saville Terrace. For full bus news click here. By roadFrom the Edinburgh City Bypass (A720), combine the A701, following signs to the City Centre. At a main mix, adjacent to Cameron Toll mall center, this part of the A701 changes its name from Liberton Road to Craigmillar Park. About 12 a mile after this combination turn left at the traffic lights into West Mayfield. Then turn left again at the Mayfield Church into Mayfield Road. The Mayfield Lodge at number 75, is just 200 yards away at the left hand side just after the Horseburgh Pharmacy.
