Shopoholics can pick up some souvenirs on the Royal Mile or head down to the shopping heaven of Princes Street and George Street, which are home to some of the worlds celebrated shops including Jenner’s ( the Oldest departments store in the world), Harvey Nichols and plenty of plenty of more. Golfers are spoilt for choice with 40 famous golf courses all within an 1 hour radius from your Castle Apartment. The concierge will gladly propose a recommendation and even book you a tee of time.
Travel information
From Edinburgh Airport to Queen Street: - Exit Edinburgh Airport on to East Field Road. - Follow signs for the town centre/ Edinburgh zoo. - Go through Eastfield Road and turn left onto the A8. - Enter Edinburgh carrying on Glasgow Road (A8). - Go through the Drumbrae Roundabout and onto Saint John's Road (A8). - This will become Corstorphine Road (A8). - Turn right on the Roseburn Terrace (A8). - Carry onto West Coates, which becomes Haymarket Terrace (A8). - Turn left into Haymarket (A8) and carry on West Maitland Street. - This becomes Shandwick Place (A8) which becomes Princes Street. - Turn left onto South Charlotte Street (A90) which becomes Charlotte Square and then North Charlotte Street. - Turn right onto Albyn Place and turn left into Queen Street. - We are at number 6 Queen Street (opposite end) on the right-hand side, next to the Jam House. Alternatively, a cab from the airport costs about GBP 20, and the air link bus costs about five GBP (return). The airport bus departs each 15 mins. Clients must disembark at the Waverly Bridge terminus (opposite Waverly Station). Reception and key range is about a seven to 10-minute stroll from here.
Important information
Check-in and key range for the rooms is at head office situated at: 6 Queen Street, New Town, Edinburgh, EH2 1JE. Please note that this is only the location of the office and that you'll be supplied with the directions and keys to your room. Late checkouts can be arranged prior to arrival or with the concierge at check-in. There is a fee for this facilities of ten GBP per hour. The latest check-out time is 14:00. There is also propose a complimentary luggage storage facility before and after check-out. Please also note that the suites do not have parking. Customers can garden at one of the close to by NCP auto gardens, which propose a promise parking site while you are staying with us.
Cancellation policy
Reservations must be cancelled three days beforehand of your arrival date. In the event of a no show or a cancellation in breach of this policy, an amount equivalent to one night average cost of lodging will be charged. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
Child policy
Kids older than 13 year are considered adult for apartment occupancy. Kids no older than 12 year can staying for self-sufficient.
