General Information

At Averon City Centre Guest House we provide prime value bed & breakfast lodging just 10 minutes wander to Edinburgh Castle. Our Georgian townhouse is in a residential region in the south side of the very heart of Edinburgh. To the back of the premises, we have a parking and you are able to leave your auto here for the duration of your visit. Averon is a historic listed building. The cottage is perfectly reconstructed but quiet holds its original character and fashion. We have 14 visitor suites, embellished and catered to a high standard. Some have a vista to the back of the holiday hotel with a pleasing walled park dating back to 1750. It provides a famous harbour for visitors to unbend after a long day in the town. Our placement in the West End of the town is close to the busy and prominent mall center of Princes Street, probably the premier shopping boulevard in Scotland. Close at hand are numerous pretty restaurants, theatres and the Usher Hall, the major concert lounge in the town. Only a 5 minute stroll from here is the Edinburgh International Conference Centre which is situated in the major financial area of the town. When the cottage was constructed it was situated on open village out with the ancient city of Edinburgh, which was the ancient town encircled by the old city wall and near Edinburgh Castle. We are happy to organise day excursions to Loch Ness and Loch Lomond, with a pickup from the holiday hotel.
