Alvar House is a little but highly hospitable holiday hotel and your hosts are Alan and Avril, who will go out of their way to produce your visit in Edinburgh a memory to treasure. The cottage is a newly re-equipped commodious villa and all visitor suites are located on the ground floor level. You also have access to the sun trap greenhouse and the dwellers hall. The cottage is on a major bus route ( day and night a day) and all the occasions of the Festival able to be reached in approximately 15-20 minutes.. The airport is approximately 15 min drive away and transfers are accessible by prior arrangement. Car parking at the cottage is obtainable and is independent all day long. Please take into account we are not in anyway joined to any other establishment with similar name.
