Welcome to the Royal Oak. The Royal Oak is a family run Venue located in one of Durham's hidden Valleys offering fantastic vista, venues and strolls. We have a full selection of genuine ales, beers, lagers, ciders and wines. We also provide a 32 seat Restaurant serving conventional home-cooked pub food and lunches. The entire of the guesthouse features independent WI FI and we are a pet hospitable hotel. The inn is located on the doorstep to the Durham dales and is within a short distance of Durham town, Beamish Museum, Hall Hill farm, Digger land and a lot of other pleasure County Durham can offer.

We are located on the b6301 in between lanchester and tow law and esh winning. we are just off the A68, Turn right in tow law whether hiking north and follow the highway, we are the 1st countryside you come at. Whether hiking from durham take the A691 to consett, Follow highway when arriving at langly garden turn into countryside Follow highway to quebec go through countryside to crossroads turn left follow highway we are at the foot of the bank on left.
