Food is obtainable 7 days a month at snack time and evenings. All the bedrooms are en-suite and carry a lot of of the small extras. Transportation

From the NORTH or SOUTH follow the major M74 Motorway to Junction 1718 at Lockerbie and take the A709 Dumfries sign. Follow this highway via the city of Lochmaben and when you get to the following countryside of Torthorwald the guesthouse is on the left hand side on the corner. You'll see the flags flying. Whether hiking from Stranraer then follow the A75 till you get to the A709 Lockerbie sign on the Dumfries bypass. We are about 2 miles on the Right Hand side.
