As a conventional 16th Century Village Inn Free cottage in the lively Exmoor National Park close to Dulverton and Wimbleball Lake providing a hospitable countryside inn ambiance with en-suite lodging and quality wholesome pub food and well maintained ales. Whether you're staying overnight or for a weekend for one of the a lot of pursuits that Exmoor can offer we hope you are sure to like your time here with us. Visit in our en-suite visitor suites named after visitor beers or privately-owned self catering lodging in our barn house. With Wimbleball Lake and Dulverton surrounding, the George is completely positioned for open-air activities such as sailing, canoeing or fishing on Wimbleball Lake, cycling, riding or sightseeing. The pub features spectacular views and a favourite activity is to sit in the pub and just look at the panorama either from the park or interior the pub. Our objective is to preserve theEnglish Village Inn so we will have home made dishes on our carte menu from local make including our celebrated Exmoor Beast Pie, with visitor ales to compliment the local true ales from Exmoor and other localities.
