Barn Cottage Bed and Breakfast is off the beaten track in the tiny, rustic, remote hamlet of Woolminstone, a pair of miles south of Crewkerne, Somerset. Barn Cottage proposes greatly cozy adjacent lodging with that supplementary care to detail. Both apartments are newly and decorated with taste. We try to look forward your requirements with a very cozy bed, a well provisioned hospitaility tray, iced water, fresh bunchs of flowers etc. Whether you have supper in your romm we offer you with wine glasses. There is a little visitor frig on the landing for fresh milk and for your own use. A hearty, well cooked, award winning breakfast using locally sourced and mostly organic ingredients, is catered in our breakfast room. The French doors and windows look out over wonderful terraces and farm land and is a genuine treat for bird and animal admirers! Visitors may enjoy eating on the courtyard in gorgeous weather. Barn Cottage Bed and Breakfast is enviably placed for exploration, strolling, biking and visiting the beach. Although only a pair of miles south of Crewkerne, we are centrally embedded in a remote and quiet “hidden area” on the South Somerset borders with Dorset and Devon, encircled by mountains, state lanes and organic farms. We enjoy impressive vistas out over Dorset’s highest mountains. The Jurassic Coastline at Lyme Regis and Bridport / West Bay, is within a half hour drive as are numerous National Trust Properties and Gardens, scenic little “Golden Stone” countrysides (and pubs! ) and thriving market place cities. Should the weather turns nasty, washing / drying service readily accessible and for walkers along the local long distance paths, “pick up / drop off” able to readily be arranged. Light evening meals and packed picnic snacks are available on the occasion of a demand. Work clients are most welcome. We have extremely solitary secure car parking! Kids are greeted but regretfully NO pets. Check in usually after 3pm and check out usually before 11. 00 unless prior arrangements have been made.
