General Information

The Plough Inn features a long heritage going back to 1600s when it was constructed as a training inn. In those days, the ale used to be brought up from the celler in vast jugs and catered to tourists in the lamp-lit brasserie cozy snugs. The Inn features been modernised in new years but the old oak beams, little alcoves and blazing open fires are silent in site making the guesthouse comfortable and intimate site to eat, drink and visit. Our award winning restaurant caters fresh food designed by the qualified team of chefs each day. In 1985 the barn converted into 8 en-suite suites by upper London designer Michael Priest of Belgravia and furthermore 9 suites have lately been completed, all offering luxurious comfort.
