The Best Western Rose and Crown Hotel, initially a fourteenth century posting cottage, tenderly restored to a chic day hotel. The Hotel added a fresh annex in 2005 with 9 recent administrative suites featuring flat screen LCD tvs, airconditioning, laptop charging safes and premium quality fixtures and furniture and accessories. Alternatively, choose from the historic oakbeamed suites in the orginal cottage, or the more present-day suites in the major building. All rooms in the hotel have an amusement system and high quality internet access, either Wi-Fi or I-net news port. The East St. Grill restaurant has just been modernized and proposes a comtemporary setting and famous casual dining, a favourite with locals and visitors alike. Have a pre-dinner drink in either the East St. Hall or adore the Tudor Bar/Brasserie with its more conventional foods and ales.
