General Information

Graysonside is a previous farmhouse providing Bed and Breakfast and Self Catering Accommodation in a newly converted stone barn. In 2007, Graysonside was presented five Stars by the English Tourism Council for Guest Accommodation. In addition this we have lately been given a Gold Award by the English Tourism Council for Guest Accommodation. We are located at the North end of the Lake District National Park about 1 mile South of Cockermouth which is a pleasing heart for strolling, hiking and cycling the northern and western regions of this charming part of the state. The cottage is within the Lake District National Park and is embedded in 32 acres. Meadow and forests strolls have been designed through districts of de-cultivated land, which features been allowed to regenerate naturally to re-establish wildlife. Regular customers comprise a Barn Owl, Red Squirrel, Buzzard, Great Spotted Woodpecker and Heron.


Transportation

M6 Junction 40, A66 to Cockermouth (Oakhurst Roundabout) Turn right onto A5086 to mix with Lorton st, continue out of city on B5292 (Lorton Road), under A66 bridge, Graysonside 100m on right.
